Viva has announced the production launch of injection-molded tubes with in-mold labels. The new unique tube manufacturing process commenced in its Toronto and Hong Kong plants in April. The tube boasts three major advantages: in-mold labeling for great graphics quality; made of polypropylene, which is the most eco-friendly plastic type, enabling easier recyclability and reduced CO2 footprint; and one injection-molding step, enabling more consistent quality, shorter lead time and lower cost.
